About Us
Great Britain International Music Competition is an international competition in the UK. The competition takes place over the Internet with a winners’ concert held in the Kensington London.
Winners of all special prizes will receive an opportunity in 2026 to perform as a soloist with an orchestra in central London. All special prize winners will also receive either online or in-person one-to-one music coaching in London from distinguished adjudicator panel of the competition, worth more than £100. Overall winner will also receive a cash reward of £100 in addition to one-to-one music coaching worth more than £500.
The aim of the competition is to give advice, invaluable feedback and to promote talented young musicians, and to give young artists showing great musical potential from all over the world the chance to make their debut in the heart and important musical stage of London. If winners cannot take part in the live winners’ concert, their performance can be shared on Great Britain International Music Competition’s website.
Through our website and our different media channels, we aim to provide publicity for young musical talents which can make you stand out for school and University applications, and also promotion for those who are especially considering a more professional musical career.
Our competition also has a strong educational focus and we aim to provide invaluable comments for all applicants in both preliminary and final rounds. Preliminary round application is completely free. For the final round application, an application fee including administrative and service fee of £50 will be charged to applicants in the solo category and £75 for chamber category.
